Last week on XML.com I published an article by Paul Prescod, SVG: A Sure Bet. It proved quite controversial, and the feedback form became very busy quickly after publication.
This week I've published a piece by Kendall Clark, Social Meaning and the Cult of Tim. It too is quite controversial, if you move in the circles Kendall is reporting on. The difference between these two articles is that instead of the feedback form of Kendall's piece being filled with robust rebuttal, the pushback has been in murmurs and complaints in private.
The contrast is intriguing.
