Quieter than I thought

Joey Hess was kind enough to respond to my Debian desktop environment installation experience. It turns out that all those questions are not normally shown: only the XFree86 server configuration questions are.

The reason was, as Joey points out, that because I encountered an error during the install process (network misconfiguration) the installer was thrown into "expert" mode where it asks low priority installation questions. I can see the logic behind this as a general measure, but it didn't help in my particular case. I should also say that I'm impressed with the new installer work, especially the integration of the partition tool.
